What is a youth subculture?

A youth subculture is a trend for the youth, there are many different youth subcultures and all of them use stereotypes of how that trend of person in the group should be like. Music also can be aimed at a youth subculture, for example artists like, Skepta, Stormzy and Bugzy Malone are aimed at roadmen. Therefore artists like 50 cent, Tupac, and Notorious B.I.G are aiming their music to US gangsters and people who claim to be tough and in the streets.
